Kelly first entered the industry in a round-about way. While attending 7th grade in Northern California , she cut a friend’s hair from very long to a short bob. After five weeks when her friend went to a professional salon for a trim, the hair dresser was blown away at the skill of the cut. “Who cut your hair? Who did this?”
“Ah, my friend, Kelly. She did it at home. We're classmates.” Needless to say, he was surprised that someone Kelly’s age, with no professional training, had cut a nice bob.
And that’s where it all started.
But beyond talent, Kelly has a warm and wonderful personality; she’s friendly, creative, kind, funny, hip, charismatic, intuitive and professional. She’s got a sense of humor that would flatten a horse and stop traffic. No joke.
Most important, Kelly is good with hair. Damn good.
